Going Miniature

As an update from my previous post.

I received my tiny doll more than a week ago. She is the tiniest bjd I’ve owned! At only 11cm tall. My smallest had been Lati Green Lea, a 26cm tall boy.

I made her a fur wig (my first time sewing a fur wig – amazing what anyone can do in desperation >_< ) and made her a dress

Apart from that, I’m playing (and taking pics) of my other toys as well. 2 months ago I bought 4 capsule with robot figures in them and I haven’t gotten around to taking their pics..

In other news, I had a talk with airbiscuit the other day and I’m inspired to do more with my photography. Its an on and off thing. But his story about the scene in Korea during his trip at the ASEAN-Korea art was so motivating. I truly wish I can be selected for next year’s! Until then, I have to do something more in my style of photos. Concepts, manipulation and self expression.

Which makes me wonder if anyone likes seeing these types of photos. What’s your favourite styles? :D

What a weekend..

On Saturday, I was quite touched and felt the world was alright, because some people do care. :fangirl:

While driving on the way to work, I saw a tiny lil white kitten in the middle of the road, running haphazardly, panicking.. and so I slowed down. Hoping I did not hit the kitty, I drove around and forward slowly, and I saw.. behind me in the rearview mirror, the car directly behind me stopped as the kitty was directly in front of it. ;-(

And then! I saw a 4wd (Sportage, I think) on the other side stopping, putting on hazard lights and the driver went out to rescue the kitty and brought it back to his car.

So sweet!!  :love:   I had a feel-good rush all the way driving to work. =))))))))))))

Sunday was a tiring day! It was Ministry Walkathon day. Coupled with Saturday BFF Jogging, I felt I wasnt up to walking, so just took photos. Even so, its like a workout, carrying my Whitey and bag about..! :angry: :lame:

Anyway, was done by 10+. Had fun hanging out with Sabby~ And then off to KB for Rugby. Belait 10s !! It was held at Mumong Sports Complex. Dearest OneDay was doing 140-160 and I arrived safely within 50mins. Heh.

The day was scorching hot,   :lame:    it was like a sauna even without the sun out. Cloudy but damn HOT!! I was sweating all the time and even tho I drank a lot, I never even had to go to the toilet as I sweated it all out. Accompanied Q to get his wheels, wheee! And only got home by 11pm.. wow.. 7am to 11pm ..  :|

  8. Editing previous tag along / organising db.com and murosaki.db.com

Today, started my policy fund for my retirement moolah. Add to that this month my car loan starts deducting from my salary. On top of my bills, cc, misc entertainment.. I want a second income -_-;;

Or drop some projects/hobbies. The dolls will have to go. Maybe less forum admining. Drop some photo projects? I want more time, less stress, less uncertainty. Where am I going with my relationship? AM I GOING ANYWHERE. -_-;;

Whatever lah. Ngalih ku sudah. So, wat next, life? :|

Itssssssssssssss weekend!!! Actually yesterday was my weekend, hahahah, I was at home ALL day.

My actual weekend, today and tomorrow will actually be packed with activities.

Saturday afternoon: Jogging @ Kebajikan 6pm with the BFFs

Sunday morning: 7am hike up Bukit Bujang Pahang, Menunggol.

Its my last day of leave today. I’m hoping to finish all my pending items.. -_-;; It seemed like a short break, as I kept myself busy: Temburong, Kg Ayer Boat Outing & BFF 2nd Anni Bowling. I also got my Lomo pics developed, will upload them soonish. :love:

In the forum, the issue of image copyright cropped up again. We seriously need a champion to concentrate on this issue, someone who can dedicate time to chase after AG until its completion.

The public also needs to know about this, and for that we need the media’s help to create awareness. (But *sigh* it seems the media also don’t know how to treat image copyrights).

A photo taken by anyone is copyrighted to that person. If the person has been paid to release the image (s),  then copyright will belong to the buyer. Sometimes there are conditions like, 1 year time limit and after which copyright belongs to photog again, or owner may post in his/her personal blog but not for publish, etc. For exclusive use by the buyer, the price will be expensive but photog will not be able to publish anywhere, including personal blog!

I hope to spread this awareness, maybe the BFFs will have a campaign of some sort.
